Misplaced fear debilitates a vibrant Spirit led life. A fear of man can infect every area of our lives, impacting what we do or don’t do. At FCS we strive to have students who exhibit courage and as a result, a true growing fear of the LORD. As students learn to fear God they can drive away all other fears, laying a strong foundation for courage in every situation. Godly boldness is rare these days, because rare is the fear of God.
Do you fear the LORD or take Him lightly? We all should have a sense of gravitas when it comes to the Lord. With your family, discuss how a lack of courage to do right often stems from a fearlessness of God. Be vulnerable and give personal examples from your walk to relate with your children and their walk.
