The angels praising God said, “Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace good will toward men.” Luke 2:14
“But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.” James 3:17
Jesus the Messiah came to provide peace with God and growing in the wisdom from above produces peace with others.
Is your family lacking peace? The Christian Home should be a sanctuary of peace not only for your own family but for all who visit. If this is not the case, determine what changes you will make to increase your wisdom in order to strengthen the output of peace in your home. This may require exchanging time spent watching T.V., playing video games and using the internet for reading the Bible. What things does your family do to develop more peace?
FCS is learning about peace, a fruit of the Spirit. Discuss with your children why the Holy Spirit is necessary for true and lasting peace.
