Different times I will share with parents about the kind of obedience God wants and how their parenting can direct their children in the right direction. King David speaks of delighting in the Law of the LORD. Psalm 1:1-2; your children ought to delight in obedience. They should have joy in obeying house and school rules. Grudging compliance or disobedience is a strong indicator of a hard heart toward God and should be their first clue that they may not love Jesus.
