Do you know what an elevator speech is? Even if you don’t know what it is, you should have a bunch of them. If someone asks you what you do, you could concisely tell them, right. If someone asked you how you became or how you know you are a Christian you should have an answer. 1 Peter 1:15 “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason for the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.” You should also have an elevator speech about what type of education your children receive and why. By elevator speech I mean it should take less that one minute to share with someone. If you were asked about your child’s education you could say “During the week my children attend FCS where they receive a Classical Christian education. We wanted our children to be prepared for our fast paced changing world by equipping them with the necessary tools of learning. At FCS childrens’ hearts are shaped through Christ-like teachers and teaching. We chose FCS because we wanted the best for our children; we wanted an education that fulfilled the biblical principles for godly enculturation which glorify our Lord Jesus Christ. Then you could ask the person about their child’s education.
