This week after morning exercises one of our grade 6 girls recited Wynken, Blynken, and Nod by Eugene Field. Her clear presentation of one of our Book of Virtue’s poems told the story of the joys and beauty of work. Now just think how hard this girl had to work to memorize and then recite Wynken, Blynken, and Nod!

Do you dream of the beauty and joy of work or is it more of a nightmare? This bedtime poem casts fishing in a magical light. How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news. May each of us dream then really be the beautiful fishers of men God has called us to with our “nets of silver and gold”.
